Audi is prepared to take LeMans 24hrs for the 12th Time

Audi has publicly announced that it is now prepared to take the LeMans 24hrs for the 12th time which takes place this weekend. The team has completed the document checks as well as Technical Scrutineering of the three R18 e-tron quattro cars in downtown Le Mans. The race week at Le Mans begins with a free practice and the first qualifying session on Wednesday, the subsequent qualifying session will take place on Thursday. The 81st running of the race starts on Saturday at 3 p.m. Audi has won the world’s most important endurance race eleven times since 2000.

Audi is ready for the Le Mans 24 Hours. On Monday, Audi Sport Team Joest completed the document checks as well as Technical Scrutineering of the three R18 e-tron quattro cars in downtown Le Mans. Head of Audi Motorsport Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich’s team and the nine factory drivers, Marcel Fässler (CH), André Lotterer (D), Benoît Tréluyer (F), Loïc Duval (F), Tom Kristensen (DK), Allan McNish (GB), Lucas di Grassi (BR), Marc Gené (E) and Oliver Jarvis (GB), subsequently posed for a group photo at Place de la République and were popular interview partners for the preliminary media coverage of the classic 24-hour race.
