Lamborghini today at the Goodwood Festival of Speed announced that it will be making a roadster version of the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce which they introduced earlier this year in the Geneva Motor Show.
They also announced that the production of the roadster will be limited to 500 units which is a 100 units less than the coupe version which by the way is all sold out with first deliveries being made now. Lamborghini dealers worldwide are now taking orders of the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster.
Speaking at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann said:
The Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce is the most pure, sports-oriented and emotional incarnation of a Lamborghini, and all 600 units have been sold, with first deliveries starting now. We will also produce a roadster version, which our dealers worldwide are now taking orders for.
The Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 s with a top speed of 350 km/h. It makes 50 hp more and weighs 50 kgs less than the standard Aventador.
The roadster will be very close to the coupe version in terms of performance and specifications so for more info visit this link: Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Coupe 2015
