McLaren has just released a tempting image of its upcoming track-only hyper car the McLaren P1 GTR in it’s design concept form. The P1 GTR design concept will makes its global debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance 2014. The car will be exclusive to only those who already have its road-legal brother the McLaren P1 and the it will go into production in June 2015 after the 375th McLaren P1 rolls-of the production line, which will be exactly 20 years later of the great win of McLaren with the F1 GTR (on which the P1 GTR is named) at the 24 hours of Le Mans.
As we already reported before that this exclusive programme will include driver training, exclusive events and vehicle support. It will be not just some ordinary training but McLaren claims that drivers would be trained with the same technology, resources and expertise which they have used for their Formula1 drivers, now that is going to be some out-of-the world experience.
The P1 GTR will be unveiled during an exclusive preview on 18th Fairway at Pebble Beach Lodge at 18:00 EST on Friday 15th August and will continue to make its public debut on the Pebble Beach lawns over the weekend.
