Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Chul Seung Lee as Dealer Principal for its authorised dealer in South Korea, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Seoul.

Dr Lee, 51, who oversees an expanding business in Korea, steering Sales, Marketing and Aftersales operations in Seoul, replaces Mr. Lim Sung Hyeun, who has stepped down for personal reasons.

Dr Lee brings substantial experience to the role, having earned both his Doctorate and Masters degrees in Marketing at Northwestern University, Illinois in the United States; a Bachelors in Economics from Seoul National University; and having worked in several senior management roles.

On his appointment, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Asia Pacific Regional Director, Paul Harris, said: “Korea is strategically an important market for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars within the Asia Pacific region. We see demand in the market for super-luxury imported cars and, increasingly, bespoke cars. We warmly welcome Dr Lee to the Rolls-Royce family and are confident he will steer the business successfully given his passion for leadership and his vast management experience across a number of different business disciplines.”

Dr Lee commented: “It is an honour for me to support Rolls-Royce Royce Motor Cars, the pinnacle of all automotive brands. My passion for the brand started early on in life noting the royal figures and celebrities who have graced Rolls-Royce cars, such as Grace Kelly and Greta Garbo. I look forward to taking the brand further in Korea given the already iconic range of cars which we have on offer.“

“As we approach our 10th anniversary of operations in Korea, it is evident that more and more highly successful Koreans are attracted to Rolls-Royce cars, and particularly the concept of being able to own a motor car that is personalised and highly exclusive. This is why we will also be bringing in other limited edition cars and the latest model, Wraith, later in the year,” Dr Lee added.
